Today is Markus's first birthday! His party was yesterday and he had a huge turn out! How blessed, to be adored by so many! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and even those who wanted to, but couldn't. We asked for books, to start his library, and books he received!! For some reason I don't have any pictures (except one) of Markus WITH someone! Maybe someone who attended the party was smarter than me?? lol Markus has been with us for 3 weeks and one day! In some ways it seems like he has always been here. In other ways it seems like we are still getting use to him. Any way you twist it, we love him like crazy!
I do not recommend the cupcake cake. It's way too messy. Pick a cake or cupcakes, not both!

Randy's mom (and dad) should be home by tomorrow night. She and our brother in law are recovering well. It will be wonderful for them to put this behind them and get on with the business of living! We have so much to be grateful for. So do you, don't forget that!
I would have gotten a ton of pics for you! Stupid surgery I had! The kids and Brian enjoyed it and said it was fun! Thanks for the yummy cupcake!
