It's been an unbelievable weekend!! But a blessed one, no doubt!!  It is crazy the changes our family has gone through!  And really... it's crazy to me what Randy and I have been through in our marriage!  I plan to write about it over time.  What a wonderful man God chosen for me!!  It will be interesting to see how the week goes.  Randy will go to work and I will get back into the school routine.  Please don't stop praying for our family.  Each of the children have needs unique to them and Randy and I need to maintain a solid marriage for their sake.  Please also, continue to pray for peace and comfort for Markus's birth family.  We do not take lightly their heart ache. 

Markus took his first bath here tonight.  Lucky for him, Reagan LOVES taking long baths and a playmate is just what she needed!!

A huge thanks to my friend Melanie for making my blog "cute".  I didn't think I cared what the design was, but now that's it's cute, I am glad she changed it!  Thanks Mel!!

We made it!!

We survived our first night!  It wasn't nearly as bad as I was prepared for.  Randy fed Markus a bottle around 8:30.  Markus laid in my bed with me and fell almost instantly to sleep (long day!).  We moved him to his crib (in our room) where he slept until 1am.  I brought him into our bed but he was restless, so I made him a small bottle.  He drank it, fell asleep and I moved him back into his crib around 1:45.  He woke up again around 5am and then just snuggled with me in bed until 7. 

Here is a picture of him when we finally got up for the day, before the rest of the house woke up.  When Randy got up, he let me go back to bed for a while!  Randy said Markus is like a Pez dispenser, with little poop balls coming out all the time! :) 

Here is a picture of Reagan and Markus.  Karrigan and I dressed Markus, I said he has his "Antlers Up".  Randy said he appreciated the effort... but no! lol

I decided to start a formal blog!  With our family growing this weekend, so does the number of people interested in our family.  I plan to write often, so check back often!
