The boys

Markus and I had lunch with some sweet friends today.  That boy pigged out!!!  He ate all of the food I brought for him and every other thing that was put in front of him!  Including TOMATOES!  I hope he will continue to not be a picky eater, we have enough of those already.
Nolan has not had a fever all day.  He isn't eating solid food, but he has been drinking homemade fruit smoothies.  He was so sad to miss a field trip today.  He should be back at school tomorrow.    I sure do love these boys!!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

In the words of my (then 5-6 years old) niece Megan, "If someone gave me one of those, I would eat it".

Toy Story 3

It's been a good day.  Randy got off work early so he, Markus and I spent most of the day together.  Markus got his first professional hair cut.  He looks even more adorable,  I didn't think it was possible!  The three of us then went to Blockbuster, the bank and Walmart.

Nolan went "missing" this afternoon.  I found him in his bed almost asleep, which is extremely odd.  I discovered he had a temp of 101.  He ate NOTHING since coming home from school and he later said his throat hurts when he swallows.  So he may be seeing the doctor tomorrow.  He definitely wont be going to school, but I hope it's not a big deal.
We had Robbi and Shayli over for dinner and to watch Toy Story 3.  We are HUGE Toy Story fans, and the third movie was just as cute as the first two.  I hate to see the story end, but where can it go from here?? :)  I would not complain if Markus fell in love with Toy Story!  I love those movies!
Watching the movie, but didn't last long.

Lunch time

After a two hour nap, it was lunch time!

Sally is hoping for a very messy lunch!

 The staring worked!

Markus doesn't know why the dogs are interested in him.  And he doesn't care!
Well, everyone got to school on time and no one was grounded!!  Go me!!
Markus went to sleep at 7:30 last night and slept in his crib until 3am.  I gave him a small bottle and he slept in our bed until we got up for the day at 6:00.  He had banana and strawberries baby food for breakfast with apple juice from a straw.  He was fascinated watching Nolan pack his lunch! lol  Nolan was tickled.  I have thought Markus didn't like riding in the car.  But I think I figured out that he just doesn't like riding ALONE.  As long as there are other kids in the car, he is happy.  When it's just he and I, he can't see anyone.  I'm going to have to get a mirror so he can see me, that may help.
Reagan has a checkup at the doctor today, so she stayed home this morning and will go in late.  She loves being a helper for Markus.  She has been great!  All of the kids have, but I was worried about Reagan being jealous or feeling neglected.  I should have figured, with her caring personality, she would love helping.
It's chilly here in Dallas today.  The high is only going to be 60, but I don't know when we'll hit it.  It's also a little drizzly.  My camera battery is charging, but I'll get some pictures taken and posted today.

zZZzzZ

Markus fell asleep at 7:30 tonight.  I really wanted him to stay up later, but it was hopeless, he was going to sleep no matter what!  All of the kids have been such a huge help with Markus, they all love him and want to make him happy.  Nolan is the most timid but he is coming around.  Randy is training with CWF tonight so it is just the kids and I.  I think it's safe to say that we had a great night!  I am hoping for a  tardy free morning and that noone gets grounded! :)

Monday

Markus slept GREAT last night!  He went to sleep around 9 and got up at 5!!!  I wish I had gone to sleep when he did.  I am so sleepy today!  He took a nap around 10 this morning, slept about an hour.  I tried to nap but I was too wound up.  He is eating well, he perfers feeding himself finger foods, rather than being fed babyfood.  He definitely wants to be held a LOT.  He complains if he is left alone too long. lol  He doesn't cry, rather just fusses at you to GET HIM.  We will start our bowel program tonight.  We gave him "poop meds" yesterday, but it was late in the day and Randy had diluted it but then Markus didn't drink it all so we weren't sure how much went down.  He took his full dose of meds late this morning and will get an enema this evening.  Maybe we can't start getting one or two big poopies instead of dozens of little ones.
